The Bayview Shetland Pony Stud comprises of quality standard black Shetland ponies from the Orkney Islands bred by Laura J Cromarty. The stud was established in 1963 by J & I Cromarty from mainly Wells bloodlines.
It now comprises of over 40 standard sized Shetland’s with Waulkmill, Wells, Threapwood and Millhouse bloodlines.

Bayview Dakota – 2010 Champion standard foal at Registered Shetland pony show and sale at Thainstone Auction Mart.
The ponies have competed very successfully at the local Orkney shows.
